About this initiative

This initiative is part of the project “Youth Mobilization for Social Change – Civic Education & Democratic Participation”, being executed by Shehri – Citizens for a Better Environment, aimed at building capacity in youth for informed civic activism. In the present project, emphasis is on knowledge application and exposing the participating youth first-hand to the real-life public policy arena — getting as close to the grassroots in decision-making as possible, and engaging in active community engagement and social mobilization.
